Julie Trudell, Managing Director, Rivel Insights
With Rivel since 2022

As managing director of Rivel Insights, Julie works to drive innovation and growth across the company’s investor relations-focused intelligence, advisory and research services.

Julie and the GuideLign team of experienced IROs work to optimize Rivel’s comprehensive solutions and insights to address questions, issues and challenges for our Board, C-Level and IRO clients.

Julie is also product leader for Rivel's TrendLign perception studies, advising clients how research can support critical decision making, planning and strategy. She works with boards and management teams to interpret study results and develop action steps that achieve maximum impact.

A seasoned executive, Julie brings 30 years of diverse experience in investor relations, corporate communications, corporate finance and accounting. Prior to joining Rivel, Julie worked for six publicly-traded companies, primarily as an investor relations officer in the health care sector. Julie also worked in equity research for five years covering a variety of retail names and began her career in Deloitte ‘s San Francisco retail and manufacturing audit practice.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. The family are avid travelers and outdoor enthusiasts whose adventures have included sailing in the British Virgin Islands.

Julie earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in English and American literature from San Francisco State University. Honors include: being named to Institutional Investor’s All-American Executive Team for Best Investor Relations Professional in the Managed Care and Healthcare Facilities (2012); a National Association of REIT’s Silver Investor Relations CARE Award (2015); and receiving two Rivel 5.0 awards for her IR efforts while at Amerigroup — one for overall effectiveness of IR and one for management access.

Moriah Shilton

Moriah Shilton, Senior Vice President, GuideLign
With Rivel since 2023

Moriah is a leader and senior advisor with the GuideLign team of experienced IROs. She and the team deploy their industry know-how and Rivel’s tailored solutions to address questions, issues and challenges for our management, board and IRO clients.

Moriah is responsible for enhancing IR best practices, leveraging research and advisory services in her engagement with clients across various industries and market caps.

Moriah has built more than 25 years of business and legal experience including more than 20 years in investor relations. She previously served as senior vice president at Financial Profiles, a boutique strategic communications firm, where she directed strategic investor relations programs for multiple client accounts across a range of industries, with a focus on technology. Her experience runs the gamut from investor targeting and outreach, to financial analysis and valuation, to earnings presentations, website development and tactical IR program execution.

Outside of work, Moriah enjoys biking, cross-country skiing and hiking near her home in Tahoe, Calif. She likes to travel abroad and is an avid reader who is especially fond of science fiction.

Moriah graduated with honors from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in sociology. She completed financial and accounting coursework at University of California Extension and is active with NIRI — currently the advocacy ambassador for the San Francisco chapter. She is a NIRI Fellow and had the honor of serving as the chair of the 2022 NIRI Annual Conference.
