Description:

There is growing demand from investors and regulators for climate change information in public company filings, and questions about whether current disclosures are adequate. At the same time, companies are trying to navigate amongst a number of voluntary reporting frameworks and standards in their efforts to most effectively communicate climate change-related information to investors and other stakeholders.

Earlier this year, the SEC announced an enhanced focus on climate-related disclosure in public company filings, and the agency has requested public input on climate change disclosures by June 15th.

Join NIRI SF to learn about:

  • The actions being taken by Uber Technologies to tackle climate change, and the company’s perspective on climate-related disclosures.
  • How Hewlett Packard Enterprise is leading efforts to reduce climate-related risks (CDP A-list 2020) and is reporting its ESG performance and progress.
  • The efforts by SASB and its partners to bring about a globally accepted standard for climate-related financial disclosure.
